Dr. Pauline Schroeder Amoth

We are thrilled to welcome our newest veterinarian, Dr. Pauline Schroeder Amoth, to the GVAH team! Dr. Pauline relocated here from Wisconsin with her beloved cat, Little Grey (aka Hobo), and her 3 horses; Hawk, a Leopard Appaloosa, and Josie & Diamond, both Percherons.

A graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in 2001, Dr. Pauline brings a wealth of clinic experience, having worked for the past 18 years as a veterinarian. Her extensive knowledge, attention to detail, and practical approach to animal care make her the perfect addition to GVAH. When not in the office, Dr. Pauline enjoys ice fishing with her husband and riding her horses.

     Dr. Darin Meulebroeck

Dr. Darin Meulebroeck

Dr. Darin Meulebroeck founded Grand Valley Animal Hospital in 2011 to deliver compassionate, science-based veterinary care to the Greater Grand Forks area. He is trained in science, medicine, surgery and nutrition, but works with everyone on a personal basis to find the best solution for each individual pet.

An enthusiastic advocate of continuing education, Dr. Darin has implemented training sessions for his team to keep up to date on the latest veterinary techniques and scientific studies. Through this learning process, he has incorporated new methods of safe, low-stress handling of animals in his practice to better serve his clients. Dr. Darin also works with veterinary interns from UND and aims to help others advance their learning in the field of veterinary medicine.

When not in the office, Dr. Darin coaches football with the Greater Grand Forks Youth Football League. He also enjoys fishing, gardening, and hockey with his wife and three sons. He has a dog named Molly.

He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the North Dakota Veterinary Medical Association.
