All Payments Are Due At Time Of Service
The doctors and staff members of Grand Valley Animal Hospital understand that you want to do what is in the best interests of your pet. Sometimes the costs associated with these decisions can be difficult, however; veterinary businesses, such as Grand Valley Animal Hospital are not funded by any outside government agencies, non-profit organizations, or donations from the public. Collecting payment when services are provided guarantees our ability to keep the hospital stocked with appropriate medications and supplies, well equipped with necessary diagnostic tools, and staffed with an enthusiastic and passionate team of dedicated employees.
We accept the following forms of payment:
Cash, major credit cards (not American Express) and CareCredit.
Deposits
Appointment deposits will be required when making your appointment for the following situations. This deposit is refundable with a 24-hour notice prior to your appointment. If you do not give a 24-hour cancellation notice, the deposit is NON-Refundable.
- We require deposits for any new clients to Grand Valley Animal Hospital. This is a $71 pre-payment of the exam.
- We require exam deposits for all clients scheduling appointments with 2 or more pets. This is a pre-payment of $71 per pet.
- Clients that have missed appointments without calling, texting, or emailing to cancel will be required to pay a $71 exam deposit.
Late Policy
For all our patients and clients, a grace period of 10 minutes will be permitted for unforeseen delays you may encounter while traveling to Grand Valley Animal Hospital for your pet’s appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your pet’s appointment start time, we have a few options:
- Wait for the doctor to have time to see your pet at the next available break between patients. This can vary depending on the day and the cases being seen that day.
- Leave your pet at the clinic with us, and we will work them in as a drop-off appointment between other appointments. There will be a cage fee for this service.
- Reschedule to a different date and time. This process helps ensure that pets arriving on time are seen in a timely manner.
